What's in a name

I was out to dinner with a friend of mine and we were talking about names our parents picked out for us, but ultimately decided against. I don't have any real complaints about the name I did get, except that it's never spelled correctly on the first try and most people think it's short for Kristine.

With that being said, I was chatting with my mom and she told me the other names my parents had picked out for me. My mom ultimately knew which name was mine when my dad had flowers delivered to the hospital addressed to "Mom and Kristi". My dad made the final decision. Thanks Dad!

One woman at work thinks that I look like a Megan and therefore accidentally calls me Megan several times a week. It doesn't help that we have two other Megans at work too.
