I love my TiVo, but I think it hates me. I can't believe that we used to live without it. My TiVo records all of my favorite shows and allows me to watch without having to sit through commercials. The problem is that I don't have enough TiVo memory. Nevermind that I have the last 2 episodes of The OC and the last 7 episodes of Gilmore Girls saved for the past 2 years because I can't bring myself to see these series come to an end. Now I'm running into that issue with Boston Legal, for which I have 5 episodes and the series finale yet to watch. This wouldn't be a huge deal if I wasn't also recording 30 Rock (I have all the episodes from this season saved), as well episodes of Numb3rs, Supernanny, the Office, and Chuck, not to mention the final season of the L Word starting up this weekend. Add to that my guilty pleasure which is the People's Court, which unfortunately takes up an additional hour of precious TiVo space each day, and I am in big trouble! I've been getting the dreaded hourglass meaning that TiVo is about to delete my programs unless I make more space. I don't have time to watch that much TV! So, I'm convinced that my TiVo hates me. Otherwise, I am sure it would find a way to keep all my shows.
